The McBean Parkway Realignment Project will enhance traffic circulation at McBean Parkway and Orchard Village Road and improve access to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital (HMNMH) through the following improvements:
- Realignment of existing medians east and west of Orchard Village Road
- Addition of a dedicated eastbound right-turn lane onto southbound Orchard Village Road
- Relocation of the driveway west of the main hospital entrance further west with a dedicated right turn lane to provide more direct access to the Emergency Department
- Traffic signal modification to enhance circulation at the intersection of McBean/Orchard
