LIGHT UP MAIN STREET
Annual Kick-Off to the Holiday Season to Take Place November 15
The holiday season officially begins in Santa Clarita as Old Town Newhall transforms into a sparkling winter wonderland for Light Up Main Street, presented by DrinkPak, on Saturday, November 15, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. As you stroll down Main Street, get ready to see tens-of-thousands of twinkling lights, live entertainment, festive food and family fun.
This Santa Clarita tradition will feature the highly anticipated tree lighting ceremony, along with holiday festivities to enjoy with your family, friends and neighbors during an evening out on Main Street in the City’s premiere Arts and Entertainment District.
Join the Santa Clarita City Council in front of the Santa Clarita Public Library Old Town Newhall Branch (24500 Main Street) as they lead the countdown to light up the iconic Christmas tree, along with the lights that will illuminate Main Street and transform Old Town Newhall into a holiday wonderland at 5:30 p.m. Following the tree lighting, be sure to stop by Veterans Historical Plaza (24275 N. Walnut Street) to experience another special holiday tree that pays homage to our veterans and active-duty military.

- 4:00 – 4:20 p.m.: Castaic USD Carolers
- 4:25 – 4:55 p.m.: Innovative Show Choir
