City of Santa Clarita Press Release

Celebrate Series Returns to Canyon Country Community Center

Embark on a global experience without leaving Santa Clarita!

The City of Santa Clarita invites residents and visitors to enjoy the return of Celebrate, a free, family-friendly event series that highlights beautiful cultures from around the world. Held on the second Friday of each month from April through September, Celebrate takes place from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Canyon Country Community Center (18410 Sierra Highway).

Each event spotlights a different country or culture, offering attendees a journey through live music, dance, hands-on activities and authentic cuisines. This year, you can expect everything from a London phone booth photo opportunity to Indonesian dance performances, Mexican-inspired Día de los Muertos face painting and more. The series brings unique global traditions right to our community.

The 2026 Celebrate lineup is below:

  • April 10 – England
  • May 8 – Cajun
  • June 12 – Indonesia
  • July 10 – Argentina
  • August 14 – Jamaica
  • September 11 – Mexico

Beyond cultural highlights, attendees can enjoy a variety of food options and a beer garden thanks to our partnership with Santa Clarita Sister Cities, all while experiencing live entertainment throughout the evening. There are activities for all ages, offering both fun and educational opportunities that showcase each country’s heritage.

Be sure to stop by the Passport Booth during your first visit to pick up a free Celebrate Passport. Guests can collect a designated stamp at each event they attend – every stamp earns an entry into the Celebrate raffle! Prizes are inspired by the countries featured throughout the series, and the winners will be contacted after the final event in September.

No registration is required. Come by and celebrate cultures from around the globe!
