Every season brings new opportunities to get involved, stay active and discover something new in Santa Clarita. One of the best ways to explore everything happening in our community is through Seasons, the City’s quarterly recreation guide. More than a catalog of classes, Seasons is your guide to the programs, events, projects and community news that make Santa Clarita an exceptional place to live, work and play.
The latest edition, Fall 2026, highlights some exciting additions and experiences happening throughout our City. On the cover, you’ll find the newly expanded David March Park (28310 Via Joyce Drive), where an eight-acre expansion has transformed the park with a new baseball field featuring shaded seating, a picnic pavilion for family gatherings, a lighted basketball court and new outdoor exercise equipment. It’s another example of our ongoing commitment to creating spaces where residents can stay active, connect with neighbors and enjoy the outdoors.
Inside, you’ll also find updates on the highly anticipated The Rink Sports Pavilion (20860 Centre Pointe Parkway), one of the City’s newest recreational destinations. Learn more about what residents can expect as this exciting facility prepares to welcome the community.
Of course, Seasons continues to feature hundreds of recreational opportunities for all ages. Whether you’re interested in trying something new or continuing a favorite hobby, you’ll find classes ranging from Banda Latin Dance and Adult Tap Dance to Chair Yoga, along with youth sports, aquatics, enrichment programs, excursions and so much more.
Looking for ways to connect with your community? This edition features many of the City’s signature events, including Concerts in the Park, Celebrate, SENSES Block Party, City Cinemas, River Rally and Light Up Main Street. As Hispanic Heritage Month approaches, you’ll also find information about a month of cultural celebrations, culminating with the City’s beloved Día de los Muertos Celebration at the Canyon Country Community Center (18410 Sierra Hwy).
Beyond recreation, Seasons keeps residents informed about important City initiatives. Learn more about the “You’ve Got a Friend at City Hall” campaign and meet one of the dedicated project managers helping deliver Capital Improvement Projects throughout Santa Clarita. You’ll also find highlights from the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Annual Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program, providing an inside look at the investments shaping our community’s future.
