Get Your Game on at Teen FanFest

Games, Performances and More Take Over the Santa Clarita Public Library Canyon Country Jo Anne Darcy Branch

Calling all gamers, creators and competitors! The Santa Clarita Public Library invites teens to get their game on at this year’s annual Teen FanFest on Friday, October 9, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Santa Clarita Public Library Canyon Country Jo Anne Darcy Branch (18601 Soledad Canyon Road). For one afternoon, nearly every corner of the Library will transform into a gaming zone filled with hands-on activities, live performances and plenty of friendly competition.

The fun starts before you even step inside. A 49-foot gaming truck will take over the parking lot, giving teens the chance to jump into a variety of games and put their skills to the test. Inside the Teen Area, attendees can challenge their friends to Super Smash Bros., create Minecraft-inspired Perler bead art or design their own custom buttons. The games continue in the Children’s Area with classic board games, Giant Jenga and Giant Connect Four, along with face painting. Teens can also stop by the Community Room for live performances from the Golden Valley Theatre Troupe and Music Lab. After working up an appetite from all the gaming, creating and competing, attendees can head out to the patio to grab refreshments and hang out with friends.

Whether you come to compete, create, catch a performance or simply spend time with friends, Teen FanFest offers plenty to explore. Grab your crew and join the Santa Clarita Public Library for an afternoon of games, activities and fun you won’t want to miss.
