The City of Santa Clarita recently completed a refurbishment of the medians along Plum Canyon Road from Bouquet Canyon Road to Skyline Ranch Road. Originally built more than 30 years ago, these medians are part of the heavily traveled Plum Canyon Corridor. The project enhanced the corridor’s appearance while upgrading the medians to current City standards. Improvements include wider maintenance strips for safer access, durable and attractive paver hardscape, and water-efficient irrigation systems. The refurbished medians feature 120 trees and more than 3,000 water-efficient plants selected for beauty and site compatibility, improving safety and promoting long-term sustainability.
