The following is a recap of the City Council meeting on February 13, 2024:

Highlights of action taken include:

• Proclaimed February 2024 as Black History Month.
• Received a presentation on the 2024 One Story One City book, ‘The Woman in the Castello’ by Kelsey James.
• Conducted a public hearing and adopted a resolution amending the Conditions of Approval for the Vista Canyon Project to allow for the City to complete the design and construction of the Vista Canyon Bridge.
• Appointed Councilmember Jason Gibbs as the City’s delegate and appointed Councilwoman Marsha McLean as the alternate delegate for the 2024 Southern California Association of Governments General Assembly.
• Adjourned the meeting in-memoriam of Thomas Frew IV and Greg Finley.
