I would like to adjourn tonight’s meeting in memory of Chad Kampbell — a beloved local community leader who was taken from us far too soon.
Chad was a gifted designer and photographer whose creative talents reached both national and local stages.
He built motion graphics for some of the biggest brands in the country, developed communication strategies for grassroots organizations and led volunteer teams through challenging election cycles.
Here in our Valley, Chad was known for his unwavering dedication to service.
He served as president of the Democratic Alliance for Action of Santa Clarita, was an active member of the Santa Clarita Valley Democrats and was always willing to go above and beyond to support the causes he cared about.
Chad gave his time and talent freely, never hesitating to lend a hand.
Friends remember his booming voice, his big smile and the way he made everyone feel welcome.
He leaves behind his wife, Michelle, and their daughter, Bridgette.
Many of us had the pleasure of working alongside Michelle when she represented our local Assemblywoman, and our thoughts and prayers are with both of them during this difficult time.
Chad’s loss will be deeply felt for years to come, but his spirit, kindness and commitment to making a difference will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
