Tonight, it is with profound sadness that we adjourn in memory of David Veal, a cherished advocate of our local arts community.
A Saugus resident since 1980, he poured his time, talent and heart into building an enduring arts legacy in our City.
David’s support and promotion of arts programs touched many cornerstones of Santa Clarita’s cultural life, including the Cowboy Festival, Festival of the Arts, Arts Slam, Western Writers’ Guild and more.
He also served on the board of the Santa Clarita Artists Association in several capacities, including time as Vice President, reflecting his deep commitment to uplifting local artists and inviting residents to discover, celebrate and participate in the arts together.
We are deeply saddened by David’s passing and our hearts are with his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
