The City of Santa Clarita has partnered with True North Research, Inc., a professional research firm, to manage the design and administration of the 2026 Public Opinion Poll.
The Public Opinion Poll is a statistically reliable survey – if you are randomly selected to participate, you will receive an email, text or phone call, during the month of April. If you are selected, we encourage you to participate, share your thoughts and have your voice heard.
If you have any questions regarding the 2026 Public Opinion Poll, please contact City Hall at (661) 255-4905.
The City of Santa Clarita (City) is committed to providing high-quality services and responsive local governance to our residents. Since 2012, the City has conducted a biennial Public Opinion Poll to gain a deeper understanding of our residents’ priorities, concerns and satisfactions.
This survey is designed to provide the City with a statistically valid and unbiased strategic assessment of the major needs and issues facing the community across a variety of topics significant to the quality of life in the City. To achieve this, a stratified, random sample of residents registered to vote are selected to participate in the survey. While not every resident will be contacted, this approach captures the diversity and breadth of resident opinion.
By analyzing the results of the 2026 Public Opinion Poll in conjunction with previous surveys, the City uses the community’s opinion to help guide future programming, facilities and services implemented throughout the City.
