The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2022:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Proclaimed October 2022 as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and October 19, 2022, as “Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day.”
- Approved an ongoing expenditure authority increase for landscape maintenance contact 21-LMD-18A, held by Stay Green, Inc., for a total annual amount not to exceed $1,318,905.
- Authorized an increased expenditure authority with Psomas to complete design services for Via Princessa Park, for a total amount not to exceed $4,347,598.
- Approved the Fiscal Year 2022-23 agreement with the Santa Clarita Valley Committee on Aging in the amount of $625,000, to support home-delivered meals, transit-related services, recreation, health and wellness programs for seniors.
