The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 2015:
CONSENT CALENDAR—Highlights of the Consent Calendar included:
- Adoption of Low Impact Development (LID) Ordinance for urban stormwater reduction.
- Approval of plans for Annual Overlay and Slurry Seal Program and awarding of contracts for construction and management services.
- Adoption of amendments authorizing rate adjustments for the City’s existing Franchised Solid Waste Service Providers.
The Consent Calendar also included the City Council’s consideration of resolutions which initiated proceedings for the levy and collection of assessments for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 for the City’s:
- Landscape Maintenance Districts
- Drainage Benefit Assessment Areas
- Streetlight Maintenance District
- Tourism Marketing District
- Golden Valley Ranch Open Space Maintenance District
- Open Space Preservation District
