The following is an overview from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 2016:
- Approval of a contract with the Voyager Fleet Card program which provides fleeting fueling services for the City’s fleet vehicles.
- Awarding of a design contract to Alta Planning + Design for the Sand Canyon Trail Design, Phases IV and VI which will improve trails from Placerita Canyon Road to Sky Ranch Road.
- First reading of an ordinance amending the Municipal Code regarding alternate members of the Manufactured Home Rental Adjustment Panel.
- City Council discussed the sale and development of the redevelopment block in Old Town Newhall, and approved the purchase, sale and grant agreement with Laemmle Newhall, LLC. and the Successor Agency to the former Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Clarita for the proposed Laemmle Theatre Project.
