The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2019:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Supported Assembly Bill 720 and S. 923 and opposed Senate Bill 13.
- Approved the purchase of one CNG dump truck and one stencil body CNG conversion truck in an amount not to exceed $337,197.
- Approved plans and specifications and awarded the slurry seal construction contract to VSS International, Inc. in the total contract amount not to exceed $1,591,832.
- Conducted a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Annual Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program and scheduled the budget for adoption at the June 25, 2019, City Council Meeting.
