The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 2020:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Approved the purchase of a John Deere 7700A PrecisionCut Fairway Mower in an amount not to exceed $68,674.
- Amended the City’s eviction moratorium ordinance to extend the eviction moratorium period through June 30, 2020, and payback period to nine months.
- Directed staff to send a letter, signed by the Mayor, to the Governor in support of the Los Angeles County Variance application and to communicate the City’s support for the Variance with the City’s local, state, and federal delegation.
- Conducted a public hearing and adopted a resolution to adjust the Consolidated Fire Protection District developer fee in accordance with the Developer Fee Agreement between the City and the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County.
