Highlights of action taken include:
- Proclaimed February 2022, as Black History Month.
- Supported the following pieces of state legislation:Assembly Bill 1597, Assembly Bill 1599, Assembly Bill 1603 and Senate Concurrent Resolution 5.
- OpposedAssembly Bill 916.
- Adopted a resolution approving a Notice of Intent to Comply with Senate Bill 1383, relating to organic waste and reduction regulations.
- Approved the purchase of a 2023 Freightliner M2 112 CNG dump truck, in an amount not to exceed $221,959.
- Supported a ballot initiative that proposes to allow for City and county land-use and zoning laws to override conflicting state laws.
