The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, March 14, 2023:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Recognized the Canyon Country Little League for their 60th Anniversary and the Valencia High School Boys Basketball Team for becoming 2023 CIF State Champions.
- Supported the following state legislative items: Assembly Bill 23, Assembly Bill 1631, Senate Bill 13, Senate Bill 14, and Senate Bill 489.
- Approved the “piggyback” purchase of a C-45X-4 Specialized Mobile Command Unit, using Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract #113021-OKC in an amount not to exceed $1,507,138.
- Awarded a one-year contract to Andy Gump, Inc., for Citywide portable sanitation and temporary fencing for a total contract amount not to exceed $97,001.
