The following is a recap of the City Council meeting on September 26, 2023:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Proclaimed September 15, 2023, through October 15, 2023, as Hispanic Heritage Month.
- Recognized Tidings for Teens for their continued work with foster youths in the community.
- Discussed the City’s membership with the League of California Cities.
- Discussed the Central Park Buildout – River of Lights, Project P4019 and directed staff to move forward in pursuing Option 3 which includes the installation of lights in both the plaza and along the stairs.
- Adjourned the meeting in-memoriam of Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer & Chris Rushing.
