The following is a recap of the City Council meeting on March 12, 2024:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Introduced and passed to second reading an ordinance increasing City Councilmember compensation starting in 2025.
- Awarded a contract to Pacific Advanced Civil Engineering, Inc., to design a pool pump room and storage area at Newhall Park for a total contract amount not to exceed $206,570.
- Approved an amendment to an existing agreement with the Los Angeles Flood Control District for the implementation of the 2016 Proposition 1 Disadvantaged Community Involvement Program for the Upper Santa Clara River.
