Youth Sports Basketball

The City of Santa Clarita offers basketball in both Winter and Summer.  Designed for youth ages 4-15, these 10-week seasons consist of games and practices at both City and William S. Hart District facilities.  The primary goal of the Youth Sports Basketball Program is to create the opportunity for a positive and productive experience for all players and coaches alike. With this experience, children are able to develop the skills and strategies related to basketball in a manner to design and develop self-confidence and improve physical abilities and conditioning.

S.C.O.R.E. Program

Youth Sports is dedicated to creating opportunities for youth to participate in recreational activities in the Santa Clarita Valley. The events listen below are designed to raise funds for the City’s S.C.O.R.E. (Supporting Children’s Opportunities in Recreational Events) program. The S.C.O.R.E. program was established to provide City program registration scholarships for youth of underprivileged families in the Santa Clarita Valley. Each event Youth Sports has developed was designed to include an element to raise funds for the S.C.O.R.E. program.
