Youth Art Exhibition

View original artwork created by local TK–12 students in celebration of Youth Art Month, a national observance recognizing the importance of arts education and youth creativity. To be displayed, artwork must be entered into the Youth Art Contest.

Selected student artwork will be on display in the gallery during Art Hop. Following the event, the artwork will continue to be showcased at the Old Town Newhall Library gallery, allowing the community to enjoy the exhibition throughout the spring.

Youth Art Contest
Students may enter original artwork for judging and recognition. This year’s theme, “The World Needs Art,” encourages students to express how art inspires, connects and shapes the world around them.

  • Open to public, private and homeschooled students in grades TK–12 within the City of Santa Clarita
  • Submissions are now closed. Selected artwork will be showcased at Art Hop on March 28.

Performing Arts Stage

Throughout the day, Art Hop will feature live performances by local youth musicians, dancers and performing arts groups on the Ranch House lawn stage.
