In recognition of Youth Art Month, which occurs in March every year, the City of Santa Clarita Youth Arts Showcase celebrates the importance of visual and performing arts for children of all ages. On Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., watch music, dance and theatre performances by local youth-based performing groups and view artwork submitted by young artists in the Youth Arts Gallery. Bring out your inner artist at hands-on craft stations and enjoy a bite to eat from the on-site food trucks.
For more information, please click the link to visit the Youth Arts Showcase website.
Stroll around the Santa Clarita Youth Art Gallery to see the amazing artwork from the top 20 students showcasing the Art on Canvas, Technical Art, and Photography contests. Walk around the gallery to choose your favorite art piece and vote in the “People Choice” category.
Bring out your inner artist at a variety of hands-on craft stations, like string painting, art lessons, wire figure sculptures, tissue paper flowers, beaded strands and more! These stations are hosted by local arts organizations and non-profits.
Guests can enjoy great performances at the Performing Arts stage, where our Santa Clarita youth will engage in choruses, display a dance routine, and more!
