The City of Santa Clarita is pleased to present “Seasons” by Naomi Young, on display now through January 27, 2027, at the Canyon Country Community Center (18410 Sierra Hwy). This exhibition features vibrant landscape and seascape paintings inspired by the beauty and rhythms of the natural world. Through expressive colors and captivating scenes, Young explores the unique character of each season, inviting viewers to experience the beauty, movement and tranquility found in nature throughout the year.
From the golden yellows and rich jewel tones of autumn to the pristine white of snow-covered mountains in winter, Young captures the distinct colors and atmosphere of each season. Her paintings also celebrate the renewal of spring through blooming flowers and the warmth of summer through vibrant coastal scenes and rolling ocean waves. Working in oils, acrylics and watercolors, Young brings together color, movement and emotion to reflect the natural world’s constant transformation and enduring beauty.
Young is an international multimedia artist whose work is deeply influenced by her appreciation for nature, travel and spirituality. For Young, painting is both a form of artistic expression and a spiritual journey. Through her artwork, she hopes to inspire viewers to pause, reflect and discover the harmony and beauty that surround us in every season.
The artwork attached is titled “Sunny Splendor” by Naomi Young. To learn more about this exhibition and upcoming art opportunities with the City of Santa Clarita, please visit SantaClaritaArts.com or contact Garrett Fagan at ArtistCall@SantaClarita.gov.
