Eligibility Criteria for Program:
- 16 to 19 years old and still in high school
- Must reside in Santa Clarita
- Must have no previous work experience
Teens who meet one or more of the criteria below will be considered for the program:
- Low Income – For example: receive a modified lunch program at school
- High-Risk – low grades; on probation; recovering from addiction; in the DCFS or foster care system; behavioral issues; or have trouble finding a job
- Students with special needs – For example: someone with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP); speech and/or language impairments; or physical disabilities
NOTE: If you have already participated in the program in the past you are not eligible to reapply.
