The Youth Employment Services program has a Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer sessions.
Fall/Winter Session – 12 weeks
- November 25, 2024, through February 14, 2025
- Up to 15 hours a week

Spring/Summer Session – 12 weeks
- May through August 2025
- Up to 20 hours a week
*Applications are available online in early February.
If hired, the participant will:
- Earn $16.87 an hour (minimum wage)
- Work 15 to 20 hours/week for 12 weeks at various locations in Santa Clarita
- Learn various skills such as customer service, operating a cash register, stocking, merchandising, supervising children, ride-operator, etc.
- Participate in skill-building sessions and workshops to increase employability
