The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2015:
CONSENT CALENDAR – APPROVED AS ONE INDIVIDUAL COUNCIL ACTION
Highlights of the Consent Calendar included:
- Approval of the Parcel Map located at the east corner of Bouquet Canyon Road and Plum Canyon Road.
- Adoption of a resolution to annex parcels into Streetlight Maintenance District No. 1.
- Adoption of a resolution for annexations and creation of a new zone in Landscape Maintenance District No. 1 for the Five Knolls development project.
- Awarding of a contract for utility billing and franchise fee audit services.
- Awarding of a contract to for the maintenance and support of the City’s Transit Information Network.
NEW BUSINESS
The City Council considered three changes to the City’s Municipal Code and took the following actions:
- Amended Chapter 5.08, limiting the operation hours of massage parlors.
- Added Chapter 35 to Title 11, preventing aggressive solicitation on public property.
These two recommended amendments will be considered for final approval and adoption at the next Council Meeting.
- On matters relating to the City’s Municipal Code concerning tobacco control, the City Council directed City staff to reevaluate proposed changes and bring this back to the Council for consideration at a later date.

FUTURE MEETINGS
Regular City Council meetings take place on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. The next regular meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
