The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 28, 2016:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Adopted the Annual Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 2016-17.
- Approval of the Conceptual Master Plan for the new Canyon Country Community Center.
- Approval of the purchase of approximately nine acres of property in the Newhall Pass area.
- Approval of a Circulation Improvement Program at the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Bouquet Canyon Road.
- Held public hearings regarding the approval of annual levy of assessments for the Open Space Preservation District and for various Landscape Maintenance Districts.
