Highlights of action taken include:
- Proclaimed September 15, 2024, through October 15, 2024, as Hispanic Heritage Month.
- Proclaimed October 6, 2024, as Dixon Duck Dash Day in honor of Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers, Inc.
- Appointed Councilmember Laurene Weste and Councilwoman Marsha McLean to serve on the 2028 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games Ad Hoc Committee.
- Nominated and approved the appointment of Denise Lite to the Planning Commission.
- Adjourned the meeting in-memoriam of Nancy Roatcap.
