The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, September 13, 2016:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Awarded a two-year contract for the maintenance of the major thoroughfare medians for Landscape Maintenance District – Zone 2008-1.
- Held a public hearing to adopt a Tax Equity and Financial Responsibility Act Resolution to approve the tax-exempt financing for the construction of a new patient tower at the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.
- Amended an agreement with Antelope Valley Workforce Development Consortium through December 31, 2016, to continue providing services through America’s Job Center.
