The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2016:

Highlights of action taken include:

  • Approved a one year Lease Agreement with the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce.
  • Authorized funding for the operations and maintenance of West Creek Park through June 30, 2017. 
  • Approved the purchase of approximately 52 acres of property located in the Golden Valley Ranch area.
  • Completed the first reading of an ordinance to adopt the 2016 California Building Standards Code with local amendments.
