The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 25, 2016:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Approved the purchase of approximately 26 acres of property adjacent to the current Via Princessa Metrolink Station.
- Awarded a one-year contract for tree maintenance services for all City maintained trees.
- Awarded a one-year contract for landscape maintenance services for zones 20 and 21.
- Adopted the City Council Legislative Committee’s recommendation to oppose Proposition 57: The Public Safety and Rehabilitation Act of 2016.
- Awarded a five year contract for records storage services.
- Held a public hearing and adopted the 2016 California Building Standards Code with local amendments.
