The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 2017:

Highlights of action taken include:

  • Held the first reading of an ordinance pertaining to Library Rules of Conduct.
  • Adopted a resolution to initiate proceedings to form a Drainage Benefit Assessment Area in Golden Valley Ranch, the public hearing is set for April 11, 2017. 
  • Adopted an amended resolution of intent for the proposed annexation of parcels in Landscape Maintenance District No. 1, Zone 32 (Vista Canyon). 
  • Adopted a resolution consenting to the inclusion of properties within the City into the California Statewide Communities Development Authority Open Property Assessed Clean Energy programs. 
  • Designated a voting delegate and alternate delegate for the 2017 Southern California Association of Governments. 
  • Adopted a resolution reaffirming Santa Clarita’s commitment to a diverse, supportive, and inclusive community.
