The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 25, 2021:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Awarded a design contract to Encompass Consultant Group, Inc., for the 2020-21 Circulation Improvement Program Phase III, Project 0064 for a total contract amount not to exceed $206,643.
- Accepted 11.2 +/- acres of real property for the purpose of public recreational and open space preservation, Assessor’s Parcel Number 3244-030-032, adjacent to the San Francisquito Creek, as part of the Vista Canyon development requirements.
- Awarded a contract to SOS Entertainment for sound, stage, trussing, lighting and power for the City’s Concerts in the Park for Fiscal Year 2021-22, in amount not to exceed $72,000.
- Adopted a resolution appointing Mayor Pro-Tem Weste and Councilmember Gibbs to the Santa Clarita Board of Library Trustees for a three-year term, expiring June 30, 2024.
- Awarded a two-year contract to Stay Green, Inc., to provide landscape maintenance services to specific Landscape Maintenance District Zones, for a total two-year contract amount not to exceed $1,865,550.
- Accepted Measure H Implementation grant funding from the County of Los Angeles for the Family Promise SCV interim housing project, for an amount of $300,000.
