The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, November 9, 2021:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Proclaimed November 2021, as “Family Court Awareness Month.”
- Accepted Fiscal Year 2021 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds in the amount of $23,070, from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance.
- Approved and authorized the City Manager or designee to execute a 15-year lease agreement with The Master’s College and Seminary for Creekview Park.
- Awarded a professional services agreement to Climatec, LLC, at no cost to the City, for the development of an investment grade audit of City facilities for future consideration of energy efficiency upgrades.
- Awarded a contract to Dudek, for a total contract amount not to exceed $263,956, for the preparation of the Wiley Canyon Environmental Impact Report.
