The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, December 8, 2020:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Awarded a two-year contract to MMO Partners for federal legislative advocacy services, in an amount not to exceed $77,000 annually.
- Adopted a resolution appointing Councilmember Jason Gibbs to the Santa Clarita Board of Library Trustees.
- Approved the Final Tract Map for Tract No. 73858 – Plum Canyon – for condominium purposes.
- Approved plans for the Canyon Country Park HVAC Replacement and awarded the construction contract to Western Air Conditioning Co, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $195,690.
- Awarded a three-year contract for credit card merchant and processing services to MUFG Union Bank, N.A., in an amount not to exceed $170,000.
- Adopted a resolution amending the budgets for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 and Fiscal Year 2020-2021, and a resolution amending the classification plan and salary schedules, providing changes to benefit contributions for employees and retirees of the City.
