The following is the recap from the City Council meeting on Tuesday, March 28, 2023:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Recognized the Hart High School Girls Soccer Team for becoming 2023 CIF State Champions.
- Proclaimed March 29, 2023, as National Vietnam War Veterans Day and April 1, 2023, as Assyrian New Year
- Awarded a Design-Build Contract to Trillium for the design and construction of a Hydrogen Production and Fueling Station at the Transit Maintenance Facility for an amount not to exceed $12,317,638.
- Awarded a two-year contract extension to West Coast Arborist, Inc., to support the continuation of contractual tree maintenance services for a total amount not to exceed $6,174,272.
- Adjourned the meeting in-memoriam of Jeff Wheeler and Ed Bolden.
