The following is a recap of the City Council meeting on January 9, 2024:
Highlights of action taken include:
- Proclaimed January 15, 2024, as Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
- Received an Annual Update presentation from the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation.
- Nominated and approved the appointment of Rob Cruikshank to the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission.
- Awarded a contract to HASA, Inc., for pool chemicals and delivery through June 30, 2025, for a total contract amount not to exceed $587,748.
- Adjourned the meeting in-memoriam of Jeff Wheat.
