Housing Resources

The City of Santa Clarita provides resources related to affordable housing and for landlords and tenants.  

Housing staff is also responsible for administering the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, which provides funding for community programs and investments in community infrastructure. Some of the local resources available include, but are not limited to:

  • Homeless Services and Shelter
  • Short-term Rental Assistance
  • Home Repair Assistance
  • Fair Housing Information and Education

Notice of Funding Availability – CDBG

The City of Santa Clarita releases an annual Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Utilization of these funds are primarily intended to assist low- and moderate-income residents in the community. 
 
This opportunity is available for Non-Profit organizations and the City releases the NOFA at the end of each calendar year. For more information about the CDBG NOFA, or to ask how to become informed when it is released, please contact the Housing  Line at (661) 286-4141.
