Housing Resources
The City of Santa Clarita provides resources related to affordable housing and for landlords and tenants.
Housing staff is also responsible for administering the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, which provides funding for community programs and investments in community infrastructure. Some of the local resources available include, but are not limited to:
- Homeless Services and Shelter
- Short-term Rental Assistance
- Home Repair Assistance
- Fair Housing Information and Education

Notice of Funding Availability: Community Development Block Grant Program 2026-2027
Each year, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development provides the City of Santa Clarita (City) with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to primarily benefit low- and moderate-income Santa Clarita residents. This Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) invites non-profit and community-based organizations with the opportunity to apply for funds to serve the City’s low-and moderate-income residents during the Program Year of July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027. All proposals must address a Consolidated Plan priority and meet a variety of other cross-cutting federal regulations, including compliance with reporting and record-keeping requirements. Only residents of the City of Santa Clarita may be served by any CDBG funding awarded.
