Housing Resources
The City of Santa Clarita provides resources related to affordable housing and for landlords and tenants.
Housing staff is also responsible for administering the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, which provides funding for community programs and investments in community infrastructure. Some of the local resources available include, but are not limited to:
- Homeless Services and Shelter
- Short-term Rental Assistance
- Home Repair Assistance
- Fair Housing Information and Education

2026-2027 Community Needs Assessment
Each year, the City receives approximately $1.4 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds which are predominantly utilized for services and infrastructure improvements which benefit low- and moderate-income residents. The City is asking for the public’s input on how funds should be prioritized for fiscal year 2026-2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027).
