Action – A Parent & Teen Support Program
A Parent & Teen Support Program  has helped thousands of Santa Clarita families dealing with teen trouble, defiance, gangs, drug abuse and alcohol abuse. Meeting’s are held weekly at Canyon High School and Hart High School (Spanish Speaking).

Alcoholics Anonymous – Santa Clarita Valley Central Office
Local residents of the SCV now have a place to go find the help they need if they or someone close to them has problems with drinking alcohol. Alcoholics Anonymous has opened a resource/call center in the Santa Clarita Valley called the Santa Clarita Valley Central Office of Alcoholics Anonymous. The answering service is available 24 hours a day. The phone number is 661-2509922. Local volunteers who all have also recovered are manning the phones to insure that people get the help when they need it. A Light of Hope Support Center
A LIGHT OF HOPE (ALOH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that facilitates free support services and activities for youth, young adults 14-26 years of age and their family members struggling with substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, cutting or any other self destructive action or behavior. ALOH provides weekly support groups for youth and young adults as well as parent groups and weekend activities. These weekend activities are a vital part of ALOH where young people connect with a safe and positive group of the peers with similar backgrounds and experiences. American Association of University Women

Anonymous, Narcotics – Santa Clarita Area
Narcotics Anonymous is a non-profit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem.  We meet regularly to help each other stay clean.

American Red Cross
A humanitarian organization that offers vital disaster relief assistance, health and safety training, international tracing services, services for military families, youth services, blood and tissue services, and volunteer opportunities to serve the community.

Assistance League Santa Clarita
Our volunteers help children succeed in school by providing new school clothes, shoes, eye exam and eyeglasses to help them focus on learning.  We also provide teddy bears for children experiencing a trauma and provide home-cooked meals, gifts and treats to residents in convalescent hospitals and home-bound seniors. 
Low cost clothing and housewares are available at our thrift store, Assistance League Resale, in downtown Newhall. We are 100% volunteer run and donations to our resale store and cash donations are tax-deductible. 

Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley
Our mission is to inspire and enable young people to reach their full potential as responsible, productive, healthy and caring citizens. We provide opportunities for young people to learn, explore, participate and contribute, as well as support that nurtures and helps them as they grow.

Bridge To Home
Bridge to Home provides support services – including an emergency winter shelter, case management, housing navigation, and medical clinics – that help individuals and families in the Santa Clarita Valley transition out of homelessness.  Bridge to Home is funded through contracts with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, subcontracts with Los Angeles Family Housing, private and public grants, and extensive in-kind donations and participation from the local community.

Community Gardens of Santa Clarita
The Community Gardens of Santa Clarita  at Central Park offers 131 garden plots, five universal access garden beds, and three children’s raised garden beds to families, special needs organizations, and community outreach. The Community Garden’s has a vested interest in creating a community facility where individuals can come together to promote the benefits of locally grown, organic food that is environmentally friendly, sustainable, and cost effective and which delivers economic, health and educational benefits to a wide array of valley residents. They provide low cost adult gardening  workshops and free of cost children’s gardening workshops to the Santa Clarita Valley community. In fact, community gardeners are regularly donating fresh fruits and vegetables to the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry and Helping the Children.

College of the Canyons – Workforce & Economic Advancement
The Division of Workforce and Economic Advancement at College of the Canyons designs and delivers customized workforce solutions including training and upskilling employees, job training programs, and resources for hiring new employees. Our Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides low and no-cost consulting and training services for small business and entrepreneurs, the Employee Training Institute (ETI) provides customized training programs delivered by industry experts and state funding to substantially reduce out of pocket training costs for local employers, and our Center for Applied Technology (CACT) provides Fast Track Job Training programs that retrain job-seekers for employment in Manufacturing and other industries. Child & Family Center – Building Healthy Minds and Families
Providing quality mental health, behavioral and educational services for children and families in Santa Clarita since 1976. Dedicated to helping children, adults and families reach their full potential for becoming caring, responsible individuals.

Circle of Hope Cancer Support Center
Circle of Hope Cancer Support Center is a local nonprofit organization located in Newhall, Ca. Circle of Hope Cancer Support Center provides financial assistance to pay for cancer medical treatments to qualified individuals in the Santa Clarita Valley. All services and programs offered through Circle of Hope are offered free of charge to those living with cancer, cancer survivors, their families and caregivers. Programs and services include our cancer support group, advocacy programs and resources, financial assistance and classes and programs through our wellness center that includes art therapies such as jewelry and flower workshops, craft workshops, music therapy, oncology fitness including yoga, Pilates, movements in dance and stretch classes, journal writing, and a book club to name a few. Services also include lymphatic drainage, Swedish massage, reiki, healing touch, magnetic therapy, sound bath, hypnotherapy and more. Holistic Moms Network
The Holistic Moms Network is a non-profit support and discussion network for moms with an interest in natural/holistic and alternative health and parenting. Our goal is to develop a thriving local community of holistic parents with a wide range of interests. The Santa Clarita Valley Chapter will offer monthly meetings every first Tuesday of the month on a variety of natural health and parenting topics as well as activities such as playgroups for new moms (and other events for not so new moms). Jack and Jill of America, Inc. – Santa Clarita Valley and Antelope Valley Chapter 
The Santa Clarita Valley/Antelope Valley Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. serves families with children ages 2-19 through educational activities.

La Leche League of Santa Clarita
La Leche League International (LLLI) is a nonprofit organization that gives support and information to women on breastfeeding their babies. Mothers who are motivated to participate or are interested in breastfeeding their babies are encouraged to attend one or more of the monthly meetings in Valencia. Breastfeeding is a simple and natural process, but you may need support and information on the correct positioning of the baby at the breast, working and breastfeeding, avoiding problems, and overcoming any difficulties that may occur. The mission of LETMESAIL, Inc. (Lifestyle Enrichment Through Meaningful Exercise, Social Activity and Independent Living) is to provide therapeutic, social, recreational, and educational opportunities for differently-abled individuals with disabilities (and their family members) enabling them to maximize their potential to lead a more independent, healthy, and enriched quality of life through a wide variety of activities held on-site at its Lifestyle Enrichment Center as well as a myriad of community based activities.

Million Little
Million Little is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and transforming the lives of vulnerable and at-risk children, their families and communities. We use creativity and mindfulness to restore resiliency and empowerment in children and youth in Los Angeles ages 4-24 and adults who have experienced trauma, violence and adversity.

Million Little creates safe environments where participants can feel, understand and express their emotions regardless of their abilities, backgrounds and beliefs; making our programs inclusive and accessible to larger groups of people.

Since 2010, Million Little has been implementing Creative/Therapeutic Programs, Workshops and on-going Research Projects at schools and community organizations in Los Angeles, California to transform the lives of at risk children and families through the power of creativity.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help School
Our primary mission at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School is to instill a firm foundation in our Catholic faith built upon the four pillars of a Catholic education: faith, academics, discipline, and leadership. We ask our local community to nominate a nonprofit or family in need of a fresh coat of paint that can’t afford it. Once we’ve made our selection, we donate our time and painting services to help beautify and restore a building or home.

PFLAG SCV
PFLAG SCV supports our LGBTQ youth and their loved ones through the coming out process, provides educational programs at schools and throughout the community, advocates to change attitudes and create policies and laws that ensure full equality for our LGBTQ loved ones, organizes Pride Month celebrations, participates in the SCV 4th of July Parade, supports other LGBTQ causes and conducts fundraisers.

The Santa Clarita Philharmonic is a community-based, volunteer symphony orchestra comprised of professional, semi-professional, avocational, and student musicians from throughout the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding areas. The SCV Senior Center is a multipurpose center dedicated to independence, dignity, and quality of life for our senior citizens and the community at large. The Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center enhances independence, dignity and quality of life through community resource management and coordination, advocacy, and a full spectrum of direct quality services.

Santa Clarita Valley Special Education Local Plan Area (SCV SELPA)
The SCV SELPA works with the five school districts in Santa Clarita Valley: Castaic Union School District, Newhall School District, Saugus Union School district, Sulphur Springs Union School District, and Wm. S. Hart Union High School District.  The function of the SELPA and member school districts is to provide a continuum of quality educational programs and services appropriate to the needs of each eligible student with a disability who resides within the area.

Single Mothers Outreach was founded in 1995 as a support and resource for single mothers struggling through the effects of divorce or the death of a spouse. Single Mothers Outreach became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in May 1998. Since then, over 1700 families have been served.

SRD – Straightening Reins

Triumph Foundation
Triumph Foundation is a 501c(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to help individuals with Spinal Cord Injury triumph over their disability and to inspire them to keep moving forward with their lives by pushing themselves to get better every day. Triumph Foundation works to minimize the obstacles that one faces after suffering Spinal Cord Injury.  We specialize in galvanizing and restoring lives after Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) through our Newly Injured Support Programs; Grants & Equipment; and Adaptive Sports & Recreation. Triumph Foundation is proud to be a California chapter of the United Spinal Association, a national network of non-profits serving people with SCI/D  and is proud to be a recognized Paralympic Sport Club with the United States Olympic Committee

Yes I Can Unity through Music and Education
Seeking to pair students identified on the Autism Spectrum Disorder with peer mentors for the purpose of teaching social inclusion and tolerance. S.C.V.-Newhall Optimist Club

A service organization known as the ” Friend of Youth ” devoted to ” Bringing out the best in Kids, Right Here and Right Now. We are a hands on organization and are involved with many different projects such as: essay contest, oratorical contest, communication contest for the deaf and hard of hearing, Optimist Braille Olympics, are involved with the Optimist Youth and Family home services, safety on wheels, ” Santa’s Magic” (program designed to collect food and toys for the needy and to bring Santa to the children of inmates at Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic) Jr. Optimist Clubs in schools, youth appreciation, respect for law, and all kinds of other projects that fit the needs of the community.
